Urban Agriculture Workshop Saturday Feb. 20th At Philadelphia Community College

On Saturday, February 20th from 8:30am to 4pm the Community College of Philadelphia will hold the Urban Agriculture Workshop, sponsored by Penn State Extension and partners. This workshop is ideal for “backyard farmers” who grow for their own use or are interested in selling their products.
Topics of discussion include Permaculture, Terra Preta or Biochar, Vermiculutre, Four Hens No Roosters, Neighorhood Composting, and Season Extension.
