Today’s Tip: Blood-Building Soup

Since food is medicine and medicine is food, try the following “blood-building” soup recipe!
*Olive oil to taste
*1 large onion, 3 cloves garlic, 1 potato, 2 carrots
*1 1-inch piece fresh ginger
*1 tbsp dried thyme
*1 tbsp powdered dong quai
*2 astragalus roots
*2 tbsp lycii berries
*2 tbsp dried nettles
*I cup lean lamb, cubed, if desired.
*3 quarts water
*4 tbsp miso
