Headhouse Square shamblesFrom Fresh Times, The Food Trust newsletter:

Celebrate National Farmers’ Market Week by making a donation to The Food Trust to support your favorite farmers’ market. You can make a secure, online donation or by sending a check to The Food Trust’s office. While your purchases at the farmers’ market support local farmers, The Food Trust counts on your financial support for the weekly management and operations of our farmers’ markets.

This Sunday, shoppers at the Headhouse Farmers’ Market can also make contributions to support the market in the donation jars that will be located around the market.

The Food Trust is “a Philadelphia-based nonprofit that strives to make healthy food available to all.”
